what are they?
small groups meeting the needs for more intimate knowledge of others, friendship and mutual ministry.
who are they?
singles, families, all ages... usually 8-12 adults, plus youth and children.
why do they meet?
for mutual ministry, fellowship, and to build each other up... to encourage, challenge and impact our world.
what do they do?
informal bible study, share needs, pray for each other, enjoy refreshments and meals, special ministry projects, as well as care for the needs of others.
how are they composed?
groups begin in September... new groups are added as needed... give your name to the church office for an assignment.
how long do they stay together?
generally groups change each year... this enables getting to know many more people in the church.
when do they meet?
weekly (in most cases) during the fall, winter and spring (8-10 weeks each).
what commitment is required?
a serious commitment to gather together unless there is really a good reason not to... a willingness to love, be open accepting and caring.
these groups are the foundation of the fellowship, caring and ministering of Saint Andrews Evangelical Church. we strongly encourage your whole-hearted involvement.
